Our Accreditation
Gateway Christian Schools is a fully accredited member of the National Private Schools Accreditation Group (NPSAG) and also maintains membership in the Association of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Legal Standing in TN
Gateway Christian Schools is regarded by the state of Tennessee as a Category IV, Church-related School operating under TCA § 49-50-801 of the Tennessee Code.
Legal Standing of Diplomas
According to Tennessee law, a diploma from Gateway Christian Schools is regarded by the state as equivalent to a public'school diploma. State statute specifically provides that "...a high school diploma awarded by a school as defined by § 49-50-801 or § 49-6-3050 in recognition of completion of secondary educational requirements shall be considered by all departments, agencies, commissions or other such entities of state and local government as having all the rights and privileges of a high school diploma awarded by a public school system" (TCA § 1-3-118).
National Private Schools Accreditation Group (NPSAG)
The National Private School Accreditation Group (NPSAG) is an independent accreditation organization dedicated to supporting private schools, Christian schools, online schools, hybrid programs, homeschool organizations, Montessori schools, and other non-public educational institutions committed to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
NPSAG evaluates schools based on established standards related to educational quality, administration, record keeping, student services, policies, and overall school operations. Accredited schools must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining educational integrity, accountability, and ongoing development. Schools are required to maintain compliance through periodic renewals, administrative oversight, and updates to school records and operations.

Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI)
