HIGH-SCHOOL EVALUATION

1. About High-School Evaluations

Our goal is to supply our graduates with credible transcripts that will facilitate their admission into colleges, universities and other institutions. Though Gateway's program serves homeschooling families, we are an actual school and therefore have a responsibility to see that our students meet appropriate requirements.

Our high school counselors use the evaluation sheets to ensure that each student is meeting those requirements and on track for graduation.

2. High School Evaluation Sheets

When we receive the application for the freshman year (9th grade), we begin the high-school evaluation, listing planned credits and showing what requirements remain.

After we receive Fall grades, we will email an updated copy of this sheet to the parents and upload a copy into the “Documents” section of the Parent Portal where you may access it at any time. You can expect to receive an updated evaluation sheet in the spring of your student’s freshman (9th), sophomore (10th), and junior (11th) years.

We hope that access to updated evaluations will give you confidence in planning high school. If you have any questions about your student's evaluation or high-school status, please call or email. Your high-school counselor will be happy to assist.
